USC Men’s Golf officially announced Joshua Hong’s addition to its 2026–27 roster after a record-setting freshman season at UTSA.
“We are excited to add Joshua, who's coming off an amazing freshman season by breaking the UTSA scoring average record and recording his first individual collegiate title,” Head Coach Mark Hankins said. “He's passionate about golf and he has a tremendous work ethic and upside. He's a very consistent player who will thrive in our program at USC.”

Joshua was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and raised in a Korean household. He grew up in a Mexican social environment while maintaining Korean language use and family routines at home. His upbringing reflected consistent exposure to both cultural contexts during his early development.
